The Peak - Views from above

Every visitor to Hong Kong should definitely go to The Peak at least once. There are various ways to get there, but for the first-time visitor, The Peak Tram is a good choice. Be prepared for the crowds though.

Get a seat if you can; some parts of the ride can be at rather steep angles.

The iconic Peak Tower:

And the very cute installation by G.O.D.:

The main attraction of The Peak is the bird's eye view it offers of the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong's cityscape. To me, the best time of the day to visit is about an hour before sunset. This way, you get to capture both the day and night views of this beautiful city.

While at The Peak, it can be rather amusing to visit the Madam Tussauds wax museum and go trigger happy with celebrities and well-known figures you may never get to meet in real life.

Happy to see we've got a Singaporean representative in that museum! :)
